As a DJ for a local dive bar in Harlem, JP Biamby used to get the party started almost every other night after the bands would finish playing their sets at 12am.

That’s when DJ Biamby would take the stage with an empty dance floor and proceed to get the party started by making people dance.

The party would continue like a roller coaster until 4am when Security would have to cut the lights on and pull the plug to make it stop.

It all reached the tipping point on Saturday nights when only an hour into set the doors would be at capacity.

Many people, including the club’s owner still says that the place has never been the same since.
