Our Legacy
The inception of JiPsCo was on December 10th, 2010 at 701 7th Avenue on the 10th Floor in the former Unique Recording Studio just 2 floors above ‘Easy Mo Bee’s recording studios.
From 1978 to 2004 Unique Recording Studio was a major part of the building’s history, attracting artists like the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Kanye West, and Alicia Keys.
The Hit Factory was original name for the studio from 1969 to1970 before it became Unique Recording Studio.
Unique Recording Studio was located on the top three floors of the Cecil B. DeMille building at 701 Seventh Avenue. The specific location for Studio C within Unique Recording was on the 10th floor. The building was just off Times Square.
A large number of famous artists recorded at Unique Recording Studio, including:
Pop/Rock: The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Debbie Harry, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Tina Turner, Billy Idol, Stevie Nicks, Cheap Trick, Pet Shop Boys, and the Bee Gees.
Hip-Hop/Rap: Tupac, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Run-DMC, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, and Kanye West.
R&B/Soul: Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, New Edition, Michael McDonald, and James Brown.

Before its demolition in 2015, the building at 701 Seventh Avenue was on the northeast corner of West 47th Street, which was formerly occupied by the Columbia Amusement Co. Building, which opened in 1910.
The building that now stands at 701 Seventh Avenue is the Times Square EDITION hotel, which opened in 2019. The modern, 39-story hotel features restaurants, event space, and a penthouse.
History of DJ Biamby
That’s when DJ Biamby would take the stage with an empty dance floor and proceed to get the party started by making people dance.
The party would continue like a roller coaster until 4am when Security would have to cut the lights on and pull the plug to make it stop.
It all reached the tipping point on Saturday nights when only an hour into set the doors would be at capacity.
Many people, including the club’s owner says that the place has never been the same since.
Born in New York City, @JPBiamby has always had passion for the arts, music, film, technology and money. Inspired by DJ’s, artists, musicians, actors, comedians and art. His first job after graduating Temple University was a temp job with Chemical Bank on Water Street, in New York City’s Wall Street area before they were purchased by Chase Bank.
After that he landed at HBO scanning film reviews. When that project ended, he ended up at Sony Music, where he coordinated Ron Grant’s R&B Showcase for record executives at in-house boutique labels like Epic, Columbia, 550 Music & the WORK Group.
From there @JPBiamby established Audiology Recording Studio & some of those clients were Ice T, Treach, Lil Kim, Sticky Fingaz, Fat Joe, Phife Dog along with Select Records, Elektra Records, Atlantic Records, Jive/Zomba Publishing, Def Jam Recordings, Violator Management & Bad Boy Entertainment.
Always on the front end of the bell curve, obtained a Key Production assistant position on Bunim Murray’s hit TV show ‘Making The Band’ feat Sean ‘P.Diddy’ Combs. While working on that production, he was approached by business partners of then budding video director director Benny Boom which led to the creation of ‘Silverback Digital Studios‘, a successful HD Video Editorial Production Company in partnership with Benny Boom’s Gorilla Flix Production company under HSI Productions. Silverback Digital Studios only credits include Def Jam’s Anniversary DVD for the movie Scarface.
While DJ’ing nights and moonlighting as an sales executive, he established relationships with business owners. It was during time working as a DJ, he also partnered a financial technology firm to build a portfolio of residual income.
From there he took the opportunity to learn from the corporate side of things, with a quick stint as Business Relationship Manager for Heartland Payment Systems. In this role he acquired accounts that process payment volume in excess of $12mm in sales annually.
Then in 2016 JP founded Merchant Advisory Services.
Now, you might find JP taking pictures somewhere; skateboarding in your local skatepark or DJ’ing at your local dive bar when he’s not being CEO of JiPsCo or Merchant Advisory Services.
JP Biamby has a long history of incubating iconic brands. Just check out his IMDB profile or just to ask him to tell you a story one day.
